Page Properties area enables you to manage search engine important elements of the page.

Page Properties Area

Page Properties Area includes a Title Element (Page Title) and HTML Meta Tags (Keywords, Description, Meta-Title, Abstract and Subject). Information typed in the meta-tag fields helps search engines determine what keywords and phrases are relevant to the web-page content. It also helps human visitors to understand if the webpage matches their search engine query.



Field name  Location on the page or in the page HTML code.. Function
 Page Title  Displayed as the Title Element of your page (on the very top of the browser title bar)  Establishes the title of the page, allows search engine spiders and human visitors to better determine what your web-page is about.
 Keywords  Displayed in the HTML code of your page as a content of the Keywords meta tag. The content of this meta tag is not visible to human viewers, only search engine crawlers use it.  Automatically generates "search engine crawlable" piece of HTML code for search engine spiders, allows them to better identify what keywords and phrases are most relevant to the web-page content.
 Description  Displayed in the HTML code of your page as the content of the Description meta tag. The content of this meta tag is not visible to human viewers, only search engine crawlers use it.  Automatically generates "search engine crawlable" piece of HTML code for search engine spiders. Generally, the Description meta tag content is displayed along with the Page Title to human visitors in their search engine query results. It shouldn’t exceed 200 characters.
 Meta Title (optional meta tag)  Displayed in the HTML code of your page as the content of the Title meta tag. The content of this meta tag is not visible to human viewers, only search engine crawlers use it.  Automatically generates "search engine crawlable" piece of HTML code for search engine spiders. Helps increase density of required keywords and their "importance" for search engine spiders. This tag should not be "teeming" with keywords to ensure your website does not get penalized by spiders for "keyword stuffing". It is not so important as the other meta tags and the Page Title discussed above.
 Subject and Abstract (optional meta elements)  Displayed in the HTML code of your page as the content of the Subject and Abstract meta tags accordingly. The content of these meta tags is not visible to human viewers, only search engine crawlers use it.  Automatically generate "search engine crawlable" piece of HTML code for search engine spiders. It serves as a means of increasing keyword density.
 Title  Displayed at the top of the body of your web-page. This element is visible to both search engine crawlers and human visitors as a part of the page content.  Serves as a headline of your page content. Helps human visitors to understand what your page is about when they open it.
