You can add products to the Catalog, manage product information, add/edit Catalog categories and subcategories.

To add a new category, click Add New Category. Edit Category window opens.
To edit an existing category, click on its alias. The category opens in the Edit Category window.

To add a new product, click Add New Product. Edit Product window opens.
To edit an existing product, click on its alias. The product opens in the Edit Product window.

Use   pointers to change a category order in the Catalog Menu navigation block.

Catalog Menu

Manage the category in the operation window.

Edit Category

Language – choose a language version.
Parent – choose a parent category (choosing root will display a category in the top-level list of the existing categories).
Alias – enter a system ID that will be displayed in the list of the existing categories.
Name – enter the category name in the selected language. It will be displayed in the Catalog Menu block.
Description – you can provide additional information about the category. It will be displayed on the Category service page.
Default – checking this check-box will make a service page displaying products in this category the first one to open in the Catalog. Note: a menu item has to be bound with the Catalog area in the Edit Menu window to lead to a default service page.

To save changes, click Save.
To close this window, click Cancel.
To delete the category, click Delete. Note: to delete a category with sub-categories or products, you have to move or delete these child elements first.


Manage the category in the operation window.

Edit Product

Language – choose a language version.
Catalog Category – choose a catalog category.
Alias – enter a system ID that will be displayed in the list of the existing products.
Price – enter the product price. If you indicate a special price as well, regular price will appear in strikeout.
Special Price – filling in this field will automatically place the product on the Specials service page.
Special Price Expiration – special price expiration date. After this date the product will not show up on the Specials page.

Name – enter the product name in the selected language.
Manufacturer – indicating a manufacturer allows site visitors to search for product by its manufacturer.
Image – to delete an image, check the delete check-box near its thumbnail.
New image – to add a new image, Browse for it on your local computer.
The image will become visible in this window after you save changes and open this window again. An image file size should not exceed 1 MB.
Description – you can provide additional information about the product. It will be displayed on the Product service page.
In Stock – checking this check-box will make the product visible on the Catalog pages in Visitor Area.

To save changes, click Save.
To close this window, click Cancel.
To delete the product, click Delete.
