To add a new category, click Add New Category. Edit Category window opens.
To edit an existing category, click on its alias. The category opens in the Edit Category window.

Article Manager (Categories)

Use   pointers to change a category order in the Articles Men navigation block.

Edit Category

Parent ??“ choose a parent category (choosing root will display the category in the top-level list of the existing article categories).
Alias ??“ enter a system ID that will be displayed in the list of the existing categories.
Default ??“ checking this check-box will make a service page displaying article titles in this category the first one to open in the Gallery. Note: a menu item has to be bound with the Articles area in the Edit Menu window to lead to a default service page.

English, Russian ??“ add corresponding category names for the language versions you have.

To save changes, click Save.
To close this window, click Cancel.
To delete the category, click Delete. Note: to delete a category with sub-categories or articles you have to move or delete these child elements first.
